Newbie

Ok. Here I am. Doing what I've never done before. I'm not sure I even have all that much to say...ohhhhhh! My husband would SOOO argue that! What if no one wants to read this stuff?Well, stick with me, send a little advice my way, laugh and cry with me and maybe we can help each other along the way here in the prairies.

Me in a nutshell

I am the wife of the most amazing man and mom of 3 fabulous let-the-good-times-roll tween/teen girls living on the Canadian prairies near Winnipeg, Manitoba.

We own a hog farm and generally employ 4 - 6 people. Our large modern barn is now an empty shell because of the perfect economic storm we are in. As a family, we attend a Saturday night service at Southland Community Church in Steinbach.

I love my part time job at Canadian Lifelight Ministries! We provide easy-to-read Bibles for ministries and individuals who cannot afford them, and work to bring awareness, passion and excitement about evangelism to individuals and churches across Canada.

I have a new full time job as well - personal chauffeur and social coordinator to the queen tweens of the house!

My blogging is on-again-off-again, but I guess that's because it sort of takes the place of my journal and that's always been my pattern.

I blog mostly devotional style; trying to take lessons out of every part of my life and lining them up with God's Word. I cling to God's promises, cuz quite frankly, I can't wade through the stuff of life without them!!

As you read my blog, I pray that you would be inspired by what God can do, and have a little spring in your step as you move on with the rest of your day!
